What Are Cursive Script Fonts?
Script fonts use Unicode mathematical characters to create flowing, connected cursive letterforms — the classic elegant handwriting look. These are the styles most people picture when they think of "cursive."
Three script styles are available: Script (𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉) for delicate, flowing strokes; Bold Script (𝓢𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽) for the same flowing forms with heavier weight; and Script Italic (𝑆𝑐𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑡) for a mathematical italic with cursive character.
Script fonts are ideal for names, signatures, short quotes, and elegant headers. For longer text passages, visit our cursive writing font generator. For the full range of styles, see the cursive font generator.
